NEWS > Design Begins for UH Health Sciences Center



Following their recently completed programming and conceptual design work, Bailey Architects and Boston-based Shepley Bullfinch Richardson & Abbott are underway with design for a new 140,000 sf building for the University of Houston Health and Biomedical Sciences Center, to be located adjacent to the existing J.Davis Armistead Building on the south end of the University of Houston central campus.
The $68 million state of the art research and patient eye-care facility will include an Ambulatory Surgical Center, The Laser Center, specialized research laboratories, animal care facilities, offices, seminar spaces, a new conference facility, and classrooms.
