Austin County Jail Museum
The 1895 Austin County Historic Jail Museum in Bellville, Texas currently houses a museum on the first floor, while upper floors (including the gallows) remain as they were originally as a chilling reminder of past conditions of incarceration. Bailey Architects provided design services for a multi-phased restoration of the building.
