The Lighthouse of Houston
Design of a 21,000 SF addition to The Lighthouse of Houston including a computing center, classrooms, staff offices, store and board room. The design establishes individual identity through distinctive use of materials and features glass stair towers, which are carefully lit to become "beacons" creating the Center´s presence at the street and in the community. The Center combines rehabilitative and technological resources to provide expanded educational opportunities for the visually challenged.
